ජනවාරි මස 06 වැනිදා තෙක් කලා තබා ඇති පාර්ලිමේන්තුව හදිසියේ කැඳවීමට කථානායකවරයා විසින් නිවේදනයක් නිකුත් කර තිබේ. ඒ අනුව 18 බ්රහස්පතින්දා පෙරවරුවේ පාර්ලිමේන්තුව කැඳවීමට නියමිතය. අග්රාමාත්ය හරිනී අමරසූරිය විසින් ස්ථාවර නියෝගය යටතේ කරන ලද ඉල්ලීමක් අනුව මෙම පියවර ගෙන ඇත. සුළි කුනාටු ආපදාවෙන් විපතට පත්වුවන්ට සහන සැලසීමට යටිතල පහසුකම් සංවර්ධනයට අවශ්ය ප්රතිපාදන අනුමත කර ගැනීමට පරිපූරක ඇස්තමේන්තුවක් එදින පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට ඉදිරිපත් කරයි. 2026 අයවැය සම්මත කිරීමෙන් පසු පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ ජනවාරි මස 6 වැනිදා තෙක් කල් තබන ලදී.
